At Lovely Bengal Kitten Home, we stand behind the health and quality of every kitten we produce. This health guarantee reflects our dedication to responsible breeding and the lifelong well-being of our Bengal cats.

72-Hour Veterinary Examination

Your kitten must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days (72 hours) of taking possession. You must provide us with a written veterinary report within 5 business days. If a serious health issue is found, you must notify us immediately.

Failure to complete the 72-hour vet exam voids this entire health guarantee.

If a life-threatening issue is found within 72 hours, you may:

• Return the kitten for a full refund

• Keep the kitten and receive a partial refund

• Exchange for another kitten from a future litter

Genetic Health Guarantee

We guarantee your kitten against severe hereditary conditions for 24 months from the date of birth.

Covered Conditions:

• Severe Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)

• Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)

• Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PK-Def)

• Severe Patellar Luxation (Grade 3-4)

• Severe Hip Dysplasia

Requirements for Coverage:

• Annual veterinary exams with records provided

• Annual HCM screenings

• Specialist documentation confirming diagnosis

• Cat must be spayed/neutered if condition is diagnosed

• Records provided within 30 days of request

What Is NOT Covered

• Mild conditions (mild HCM, Grade 1-2 patellar luxation)

• Injuries or accidents

• Improper care or diet

• Allergies or skin conditions

• Parasites (worms, fleas, mites)

• Infectious diseases contracted after leaving our care

• Cosmetic issues

• Behavioral issues

Your Responsibilities

For this guarantee to remain valid, you must:

• Complete the 72-hour vet exam

• Provide annual veterinary care

• Conduct annual HCM screenings

• Maintain healthy weight

• Keep your Bengal indoors only

• Spay or neuter by 12 months (pet kittens)

• Notify us immediately of any health issues

• Provide veterinary records upon request

Our Remedy

If a covered genetic condition is diagnosed, we will provide a replacement kitten from a future litter. You are responsible for shipping costs for the replacement kitten.

This guarantee does NOT provide:

• A refund of the purchase price

• Reimbursement of veterinary bills

Conditions That Void This Guarantee

• Missed 72-hour vet exam

• Unauthorized breeding

• Abuse or neglect

• Improper diet or obesity

• Outdoor access (Bengals must be indoor cats)

• Transfer of ownership without notifying us

• Failure to provide veterinary records

• Euthanasia without necropsy
